While working at Nurun / Publicis I was tasked with art directing the new Holiday campaign for PayPal. This would be the first time the new established branding of PayPal would be implemented with its italic sans serif typography, imagery and brand colours.
There were many moving parts to this piece, as I had to create 12-15 different hero banners / intersitials as well as those emails. With the help of an amazing copywriter we created over 12 unique brand situations, which reflected the big idea of the campaign being shopping at your own conveniences using paypal on your mobile phone. For 12 days Paypal offered discounted gifts with partnering brands during this activation/campaign. “The perfect gift can happen anywhere.”
Along with the hero banners that executed the concept of the campaign, there were opportunities to create separate landing pages for PayPal to Paypal (P2P) members. This P2P landing pages feature modules that were designed for the desktop version of paypal.ca
