Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was made into a movie in 1998. Actors, Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro as Roaul Duke and Dr.Gonzo. This story had finally been made into a film after 3 seperate attempts by directors such as Oliver Stone and Martin Scorsese. The film adaptapion follows the major events in which the characters encounter. Both actors worked exclusively with Hunter S. Thompson in the making of the film to properly portray the characters as well as events. Although in Box office the film did not do so well, it still remains true to the story and has been hailed as cult classic
